Field trips

Trade the classroom walls for wide-open skies and hands-on discovery at Bedner’s Farm. Students don’t just learn about agriculture and the Everglades — they experience it. From tractor rides through our 80-acre working farm to exploring wildlife habitats at the edge of the Everglades, participants discover native plants, observe Florida ecosystems firsthand, and connect the dots between farm, food, and the environment.

This immersive outdoor adventure blends agriculture, ecology, science, and history into one unforgettable day. Guests ask questions, engage their senses, and leave with a deeper understanding of where their food comes from and how Florida’s land supports us all. It’s real-world learning, environmental stewardship, and farm fun — all wrapped into one dynamic experience.

Field trips are available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
